Livery and Accommodation in the Heart of the Surrey Hills
Crockers Farm is situated at the centre of Coldharbour, the highest village in Surrey in the heart of the Surrey Hills’ AONB (Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty) but less than 25 miles from central London. We have direct access to Forestry Commission and National Trust Land.
We are a livery yard taking horses on part, full and overnight livery. Other arrangements by negotiation.
We have 2 self contained apartments available to let for between 2 and 21 nights.

The Surrey Hills are remarkably rural given their proximity to London. Crockers Farm nestles in the village of Coldharbour just below the last climb to Leith Hill.
There are countless bridleways and footpaths meandering through the many acres of National Trust and Forestry Commission land to which we have direct access.
Crockers livery clients have some special permissions to ride in the area so the published routes will never give a fair representation of what is on offer. If you are coming with horses contact us first and we will email over some of our favoured trails
For walkers, a few suggestions are: Walk 1, Walk 2, Walk 3, Walk 4.
The hills are also favoured destinations for mountain and road bikers.
Local attractions include: Hanna Peschar Sculpture Garden, Leith Hill Tower or Dan Brown and his heavy horses

Please also remember we are less than 27 miles from Brighton and less than 25 from Central London (1 hour by train from Dorking – just down the hill).
Livery packages are outlined below, variations will be accommodated if at all possible. All stables are matted (4m by 4m) and horses are kept on shavings.
£900 pcm inc vat. Services include:

Available accommodation at Crockers Farm consists of 2 self contained holiday units converted from stables. Lets run for between 2 and 21 nights (longer by special arrangements). Prices are inc vat.
Each apartment has wireless internet, tv and wood burner. The Plough is opposite – as well as enjoying award winning meals, our guests often stagger over for breakfast. Adjacent to the pub is the imaginatively stocked village shop – supplies are available out of hours by arrangement.
Dogs and children are welcome and you are bound to be warmly and frequently greeted by our pair of lurchers and Croatian rescue. You can use the garden and yard areas and we can introduce you to the horses. There is a lovely little bbq available overlooking the ménage. If you plan to have visitors during your stay (other than pick ups and drop offs) please always discuss with us first.
Though we are flexible in all matters, published check in is from 3pm and check out by Midday. If you are arriving early you can always park up and late departures will be accommodated where possible.

“Over the Way” – sleeps 4
This property is the other side of the garden to the main house. Double bedroom, sitting room with double sofa bed (alternatively camp beds can be provided on request), kitchen + small eating area and shower with bath and loo. For 1 or 2 it is £85 / night, for 3 £95 and 4 is £105.
“Hulio’s House” – sleeps 2 + a small child
This property is in a corner of our working stable yard. Double bedroom, sitting room, shower + loo and small kitchen. For 1 or 2 it is £75 / night and 3 is £85.
“Over the Way” is larger, the kitchen is better appointed and faces our house across the lawn. “Hulio’s House” has more privacy however, you are really close to the horses and will be aware of the yard routine.
